Lebanon has long been a place of refuge for those escaping persecution—Christians like the Armenians, as well as Můslims, including Palestinians and Syrians, fleeing the horrors of war. As the nation continues to offer physical refuge, pray that it will also become a spiritual haven, where Můslims can encounter the salvation found in Christ and experience true rest in Him.

Lebanon holds a unique destiny as a gateway of renewal for the Arab world. The Lebanese people are vibrant and dynamic, known for their ability to speak multiple languages—Arabic, French, and English—making them versatile communicators. As the only country in the Middle East with a significant Christian population, Lebanon occupies a strategic position for evangelism and discipleship.

Lebanon has become home to over 2 million refugees. While religious conversion, including from Islãm to Christianity, is not illegal, the situation remains delicate. Please pray for God to raise up and send many Lebanese missionaries who will boldly share the gospel and bring hope to the Arab world.

God has opened an incredible door to teach at a Christian school where 85% of the students come from Můslim backgrounds. Joel will have the unique opportunity to share the Bible with 6th and 7th graders each week. Please pray that through these lessons, these Můslim students and their families will have a life-changing encounter with Christ.
